Balloons as Valentines

Valentine bouquets bursting with balloons are a sure way to brighten your sweetheart's day. Whether you're a passionate pair or merely flirting friends, we've got one sweet tip after another to catch your loved ones off guard on Valentine's Day!

In-Your-Face Balloons

Fill a box with tissue paper and one-dozen (at least!) helium-filled, small heart-shaped balloons. Your sweetheart will be dumbfounded trying to guess what could be so light yet so big. They'll get a nice surprise when they open this soft explosion of Valentine's Day balloons!

Float the Question!

Write a surprise wedding proposal on a large helium-filled balloon or paper banner attached to many smaller balloons. Keep hold of the curling ribbon attached to the knotted end of each balloon and slowly release the tension enough to allow the balloons to float up to your sweetheart's bedroom or office window! Confide in a helper who will lure her (or him! Why wait?) to the window.

Tried-and-True Tradition

Traditional red and white balloons with gold lettering, long-stemmed roses and fine chocolates will add just the right touch of elegance to win your true love's heart. On the lighter side, heart-shaped balloons with black and white polka dots and hot pink balloons create a playfully cute and friendly scene.

A Surprise Delivery

Make reservations at the restaurant where you had your first date, first kiss or celebrated your first anniversary. Arrange to have a balloon bouquet delivered to your table shortly after arriving. Remember that a table-for-two is small so the balloon base needs to be slender and keep the balloons out of eye level. Also, tie balloons to a bottle of the restaurant's finest champagne or wine. Keep the balloons attached to the bottle as you pour and save the empty bottle as a keepsake!
