What is a Party
Pack?
iParty.com's
merchandising mavens create Party Packs to make shopping easy for
you. Buying a Party Pack will give you all the basics you need for
throwing a party. They typically include coordinating invitations,
napkins, plates, cups, cutlery, tablecover, candles, ribbon, streamer
and balloons. Most of our Party Packs are designed for parties of
eight, but there are occasionally Party Packs for up to 25 people.
You can add more basics or favorite specialties to your Party Pack
by shopping "a la carte."
Remember to read the iPartyTips that go along with each Party Pack.
When you get to a Party Pack page, simply click on the iPartyTips
button located on the lower right of your screen. A window will
pop up, giving you twenty-one tips to make throwing that party easy.
How much
party stuff do I need?
For each guest, plan on three cocktail napkins, two dessert napkins,
two dinner napkins, two dessert plates and two dinner plates. One
knife will do because most people don't serve anything that requires
a knife or if they do, people only need it once. Spoons are only
used for dessert and most people use a fork except for ice cream.
Because it's cheaper, people usually buy coffee stirrers for coffee.
Or even if they use spoons, people tend to use the same few that
are hanging around the coffeepot. So definitely get extra forks,
but hold back on spoons and knives.
How do I select
the right size for a costume?
It's easy to choose the right size. First, click on the size
information link on the costume detail page. A pop-up window will
appear outlining the size ranges from our vendors. Once you have
decided on an appropriate size, simply go to the pull-down menu
(also on the costume detail page) and select the size you would
like to order. After you have selected a size, you will be able
to add the costume to your shopping cart.
If an item
is out of stock, when will it be available?
Out of stock items are usually a temporary situation. Products are
on order all the time. Most year-round items that are out of stock
shortly come back into inventory. However, we do not restock seasonal
items once a holiday has passed. We restock those seasonal items
just before the season comes around again.
Sometimes, you'll
see an out-of-stock Party Pack or Kit. We declare Party Packs and
Kits out of stock the minute one component of the ensemble reaches
zero (0) on hand. You can still purchase the available components
of the ensemble by clicking "See All Products."
What's the
best way to search?
When you type a word into our search field, our search system browses
the entire iParty.com inventory. To better target your search, use
the adjacent pull-down menu to choose a specific product category,
such as decorations, party goods or favors. For instance, if you're
looking for pink favors: type in "pink" and pull the menu
down to "favors."
Also, singular
versions of words are more likely to get a response than plural,
i.e. search for "knight," rather than "knights."
And try two-part words as one word, as well as two. If "water
gun" doesn't get you the assortment you want, try "watergun."
If you enter
the name of a Party Pack (Pokemon, GI Joe or Elmo, etc.), the search
will separate out items that go specifically with that specified
theme.
If you are still
not getting the results you want, check to make sure there are no
misspelled words. For example, Power Puff (correct) vs. Power Puf
(incorrect).
You can also
search by the print catalog product id#, simply enter the id#. For
example, i2811-857.
Are all products
available on the Web site also available in iParty retail stores?
Some items on the Web site may not be available in our retail stores.
The reverse is also true. Furthermore, inventory and selection may
vary from store to store.
Can I return
merchandise purchased online to an iParty retail store?
At this time, merchandise purchased on iParty.com cannot be returned
to an iParty retail store.
Terms
Payment is due 30 days from date of invoice. A 1 1/2% monthly charge (18% annual rate) will be added to past due accounts. A service charge of a minimum of $15.00 will be applied to any returned check based on the rules and regulations of the state the check is drawn on.
